Most people have some pretty unhelpful ideas about who they are, what their value is, whether they deserve respect, and what contribution they can possibly make to the world. This is normal! We all have our hangups and self-doubts, even if on the outside we try to look like we’re in control.
How about you? Maybe you’re here because you sometimes have a low opinion of yourself. You compare yourself to others and come up short, while they seem to have everything figured out.
Or maybe you’re pretty happy with who you are, but you like to find new ways to improve yourself, to get just a little better each day.
Whichever it is, there’s plenty for you here. I’ve found that what we believe about ourselves and the world around us is the root of almost all of our decisions. Some of these beliefs hold us back from living the life we would actually choose.
The good news is that you can start to change the way these beliefs affect your choices by changing the way you talk about (and to) yourself. I’m going to give you some good truths about you that you can use to intercept your normal inner voice before it makes you choose the same old ways.
There’s 4 sections, as you saw above, plus some bonus ones to get you started. Maybe check out a couple of posts that take your fancy, and then work your way through them in order to get the full benefit. I’m still writing new ones, too, so a couple of sections are still a little empty. Have fun!
